Our Lady of the Assumption School is a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, offering a solid education to students in grades from preschool through grade 8. At OLA, Catholic values are taught in a loving, faith-filled environment.

ADMISSIONS INFORMATION

Our Lady of the Assumption School operates under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Department of Catholic Schools and the pastor of the parish. OLA School does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color or ethnic origin in its admission policy, treatment of students, personnel practices or school programs. Students must have a reasonable hope of completing the school's academic program in order to be considered for admission.

Our Lady of the Assumption School's teachers are qualified and caring. All are credentialed, and many hold or are pursuing advanced degrees. Regular catechetical formation is done through the archdiocese. Each classroom is also supported by teacher aides, employed by the school to aid in supervision and administrative duties. Our staff is completed by our able office personnel and maintenance staff.

Each school family is required to contribute service hours every year. We consider our families a vital part of our school and welcome them to participate in school programs. The Assumption Parent Association supports the school's programs through numerous events and activities.
