Mrs. Carole Martin visited our class today to tell us about growing up in Louisiana, some of the customs in the state, and giving us some history and background of Mardi Gras.
Remember to send in the food items requested on Friday. The French bread, salads, King Cakes, and diced vegetables can come in first thing Tuesday morning. We had six parents volunteer to help so we do not need any additional help. Thank you!
Please check your child’s school supplies. Many don’t have scissors, glue sticks, pens, pencils, or a working pencil sharpener. All students need to begin bringing their own wide ruled loose-leaf paper to school. Thank you.
