This morning we kicked off our Building Caring Classrooms program with an Opening Rally and great skit by our Student Council, illustrating the Quality of the Month, Respect. Student Council members acted out a typical playground scene: choosing sides for teams. They showed how to be kind and respectful while still having fun! Throughout the month, teachers will discuss this important quality, and students will participate in activities that instruct and encourage respect. Students are encouraged to help each other throughout the school day, and students who are “caught” demonstrating
the quality of the month may be given a special ticket for a weekly prize drawing.
