OLA Auction Raffle
The OLA “Roaring 20s” Auction Raffle is here!! The sales period starts today, Tuesday, February 25th, and the last collection day will be Wednesday, March 25th at 3:00 pm. This is a very important fundraiser for our school and we need every family’s support! The raffle prizes are $1,500 for 1st place, $1000 for 2nd place, and $500 for 3rd place. Families selling raffle tickets will also have the opportunity to win free or discounted tuition! The winning tickets will be drawn at the Auction on Saturday 3/28! You have to attend the auction (or send a family representative) to be eligible to win the free tuition.
Each family is required to sell a minimum of 10 tickets. However, we highly encourage you to sell more! If each family sells 20 or more tickets, we will easily meet our raffle fundraising goal of $35,000! We also have motivating student prizes available, and the more raffle tickets your family sells, the more prizes your child(ren) will earn!
This week is a BONUS WEEK!! If you sell 20 raffle tickets by the end of the school day on Monday, March 2nd, your family will earn 20 bonus tuition raffle entries AND your child(ren) will earn a free dress day! Don’t miss this opportunity to increase your odds of winning one of the free tuition vouchers!
Please be sure to read the information that came home today with the raffle tickets. We have some exciting new changes from prior years! If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Bamieh at (805) 340-9168 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you! Amber & Jennifer

Auction Help Needed! - Our OLA Auction is fast approaching and we need your help! There are lots of opportunities to help out, both big and small, and we need as many hands as we can get. The auction is a great chance to get involved, have fun, meet other parents, and even earn parent hours! Much of the work needs to be done in the days leading up to the auction and some of it can even be done from home, so you can help and still have a great time partying at the auction itself!
New Student Applications for the 2020-2021 School Year - Please invite any friends who are considering our school to go online and apply for admission now. All families currently receiving financial aid or apply for next year must do this step. Faith Corner: What is Lent?
Lent is a forty-day Penitential Season leading up to the celebration of Easter.
Sundays are not included in the forty days of Lent. Every Sunday is a mini Easter, a joyful celebration of the Lord’s Resurrection.
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and concludes with the beginning of the Triduum.
Lent is a season of prayer and spiritual renewal that prepares our hearts for Easter, the most important feast in our Church.
OLA Front Gate: Please remember to make sure the gate closes behind you. If you are entering or exiting the gate is to be closed at all times. Thank you for keeping us safe.
Protecting God’s children is the initial VIRTUS training session required for adults who come into contact with children in their ministries. The program covers the requirements for an effective prevention program. The training is good for four years. We ask that all school volunteers take the training. For questions, call Dea Boehme at (805) 390-1260. It is also recommended that parent volunteers be Livescanned for the school.
