Lenten Prayer Idea:
Journeying Lent with the Psalms. Gotta love the Psalms! They are such a mixed bag: poems that complain, songs that lift the roof with joy, formal prayers, and some that make hardly any sense to us. The Psalms are full of imagery and metaphors. They are packed full of emotion: praise, anger, misery, joy, longing, gratitude, bitterness, fear, injustice, peace, confidence- you name it, it’s there. The Psalms train us to respond to the riches of the Bible. The Psalms become our prayer, our way of addressing God and relating to Him.
Live Streaming Option
Just a kind reminder that our live streaming option is meant for families that for health reasons do not feel comfortable sending their children to school. We have begun to see this option being taken advantage of by students coming one day and staying home another for reasons unrelated to health and safety. If it becomes necessary to shift from one type of learning to another teachers need to be notified in advance so they can be prepared to meet the needs of your child(ren). Generally, the expectation is the mode of learning will remain consistent. Any questions please contact Ms. Fussell.
Order forms are coming home today for the See’s Candy Spring Fundraiser! This fundraiser is not a mandatory event. This is just for your convenience if you wish to order to avoid the stores and earn money for OLA. All orders are due no later than March 18th. Please make checks payable to OLA.
All candy will be delivered before we leave for the Easter break.
Just a friendly reminder to please wear your mask during student screening in the morning, walking in and dropping off students, and anytime you are on campus. We appreciate your help in keeping everyone safe.
