Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Today we celebrate our Blessed Mother. Happy Birthday, Mother Mary!
O Mary, my Mother, I offer you my soul, my mind, and my heart. Make me God’s instrument. Give me a penetrating mind to discover, firm to judge, open to understanding, free to serve the truth; an honest mind in telling what it sees rather than what it wants to see; a tolerant mind which does not dictate to other people, but which explain what it sees clearly; a mind infused by the light and the truth of your Son Jesus, patient in faith and hopeful for the future.

Grandparents & Special Friends Day!
This Friday we will celebrate grandparents and special friends at OLA. We would like to welcome our guests to our campus. We will be celebrating outside in the back of the school from 10:30 to 11:15. We will not have any activities in the classrooms. Our teachers are planning activities with you in mind. We will have a prayer service at 11:25. Afterward, you are welcome to shop at the scholastic book fair with your grandchildren or special friend. We will be outside and the forecast is sunny with temperatures in the lower 80’s. Please bring your hats and hand-held umbrellas.
We are still missing important school forms that were sent in the first back-to-school Brown Envelope. Please send completed forms to the school office. Thank you.

COVID Test Site
We are partnering with COVID Testing Appointments, LLC to offer a no-cost COVID -19 Test to our school community and its families. Their mission is to “Provide No Cost COVID Testing and Services to the masses assisting schools, business, and our communities.” They provide Rapid Antigen and Rapid Antibody testing which allows you to test in the privacy of your home to determine results. The Rapid Antibody Test helps you determine if you've had COVID-19. It is important to note that their laboratory is certified by the Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services. This is referred to as CLIA. This is important because CLIA establishes quality standards to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of the test results regardless of where the test is performed. Most results are in 24-48 hours.
Flyers are available in the school office to help you register. The testing packets are available in the office. Our lab pick-up days will be on Wednesdays to start.
Parents & Driver ~ Thank you for your patience as we begin the year with our Morning Drop off and Pick up procedures. Please continue to be respectful of our neighbors. For after-school pickup please try to arrive closer to dismissal time which begins at 2:40 pm. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
New items have been added to the list. We will try to keep the list current. Thank you for your continued support
Office Hours: The best times to conduct school business in the office are 9:30-3:00. Please do not come in during dismissal. We are calling students for pick-up and are unable to give you uninterrupted attention.
