CLASS OF 2018 GRADUATION - The Class of 2018 graduates tomorrow! The students will take their final exams this Wednesday – Friday. Today they are having a class retreat at Arroyo Verde Park. Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 6 the grads will be treated to a wonderful lunch at the Parish Center. Later that evening, the Class of 2018 will have their graduation mass and diploma/awards ceremony in the church, beginning at 5 PM. All OLA families and friends are invited to join us for graduation.

LAST DAYS OF SCHOOL - Thursday, June 7 is the last FULL day of school and the last day for Choice Lunch. It is Karma Day – an afternoon of games and activities.   Friday, June 8 is the last day of school. All grades will attend the 8 AM mass on Friday, followed immediately by Academic Awards, distributed in church. Students will then return to their classrooms to receive report cards and say their goodbyes. Dismissal is at 10 AM.

2017 - 2018 YEARBOOKS will be distributed today to the children who ordered one. We have a limited number of additional yearbooks, available in our office on a first come-first served basis. Hard cover books are $36 and soft cover books are $30. When we are sold out, that is all we have!

FULL PAYMENT TUITION OPTION - Interested in paying the 2018-2019 tuition in full? There is a discount for families who wish to pay full year’s tuition up front. Any family who pays the 2018 - 2019 tuition in full will receive a $100 per child discount, and the Smart Tuition fee of $50 will be waived. If you wish to take advantage of this option, please let Gina in our office know no later than June 8.

ATTENTION NEXT YEAR’S 7TH GRADERS AND PARENTS: Whooping cough, also known as Pertussis, continues to threaten students in California. To help stop the spread, California state law requires all incoming 7th graders IN ALL SCHOOLS to show proof of whooping cough booster (Tdap) shot. Students will not be allowed to attend without an updated shot record indicating this immunization. As of January 1, 2016, a personal beliefs exemption is no longer an option for vaccines currently required for entry into school in California. In addition, all immunization requirements for age and grade need to be met prior to the student entering 7th grade. A flyer is going home again today with all 6th graders.

GET A PERSONALIZED PAVER FOR YOUR FAMILY ON OUR SCHOOL PLAZA – We invite all school families and alumni to consider a donation to the new plaza at the front of the school. Information and naming opportunities went home a few weeks ago. This beautiful space has added safety and beauty to the school entrance, and provides space for prayer, instruction and gathering for social events. There are opportunities for donating to this project, including numerous opportunities to give, from pavers to fencing and entrances. This is a chance to invest in the school and have your family and childrens’ names on pavers to always be at the school.
