OLA Auction/Raffle

Spring is in the Air

Dear OLA School Families,

Mark your calendars for our “Spring is in the Air Annual Auction/Raffle at Our Lady of the Assumption School scheduled for Friday, April 16 through Friday, April 30, 2021, closing at 9:00 p.m. (PST).  This year, the auction is being presented to you through Bidding Owl, an online auction platform.  Details to come on how to register and view the items so you can prepare to bid next month.

The OLA APA Board and Auction Team has put together 70+ amazing items to bid on including the Classroom Projects, Principal, Secretary, & Librarian for a Day, family fun, trips out of town, restaurant gift cards and so much more (see next page for a taste of what is being offered this year!)

This past year has been challenging for everyone, but we see light at the end of the tunnel.  The students are back in their classrooms, learning in a safe and nurturing environment.  But we still need the support of all our OLA School families to make this a successful fundraiser for our great school.  The costs of operating the school in this environment have been prohibitive.  We all must do what we can to support the operational and educational enrichment needs of our students and we need your help.

We recognize the economic impact Covid-19 has had on many.  Normally, we would be asking families to procure auction items or donate themselves.  We are not actively soliciting our school families in this way this year.  However, if you want to help, we will welcome your support.  Please contact me at 805/637-3277 or to find out the types of items we still need to bolster our current stock for the auction baskets.

We are excited to present the auction in this new format this year.  We have high hopes of returning to an in-person auction next year. In the meantime, plan on fully participating this year by selling those raffle tickets and bidding early and often April 16-30, 2021!

Thank you and God bless.
