From the Desk of the Principal~ March 25 , 2026

Yesterday afternoon, we were treated to the best of OLA talent at our school Talent Show! It was a wonderful celebration of our students’ gifts, as our school community—along with parents, grandparents, family, and friends—enjoyed an afternoon filled with song and dance. We are so proud of our students for sharing their talents with confidence and joy!

Looking ahead:

  • Spring Pictures will take place this Thursday. Students are encouraged to wear spring colors to brighten the day.

  • On Friday, we will have our OLA Works of Mercy Non-Uniform Day. Students may dress out of uniform for a $1 donation as we raise money to support St. Julie’s Schools in Uganda. Thank you for your generosity in helping others.

As we enter the fifth week of Lent, we continue to focus on prayer and reflection. We will conclude the week with all classes praying the Stations of the Cross at 1:30 PM in the church. Families are warmly invited to join us for this meaningful Lenten devotion.

Looking ahead, next week is Holy Week. We know many families are anticipating Spring Break, which begins on Wednesday a noon dismissal day. As we approach this most sacred time in our Church year, we encourage all families to participate in the beautiful celebrations of Holy Week and the Triduum within our parish.

May this time be one of deep reflection, faith, and grace for your family. ✝️

The Annunciation of the Lord – Today’s Reflection

Isaiah 7:10–14; 8:10
Psalm 39 (40): “Here am I, Lord; I come to do your will.”
Hebrews 10:4–10
Luke 1:26–38

Today we celebrate the Annunciation of the Lord, a moment of profound importance in our faith—a moment of complete transformation for the world.

In the Gospel, we hear Mary’s courageous “yes” to God. Her response to the Angel Gabriel was not just an act of obedience, but one of great faith, sacrifice, and trust. In that moment, everything changed. God entered into our human story in a new and powerful way.

Some moments in history are repeated, but others—like the Annunciation—are unique and transformative. Yet, even though this moment cannot be repeated, its meaning continues to echo throughout time.

Mary’s words, “May it be done to me according to your Word,” are not only her response—they are an invitation to each of us.

During this Lenten season, we are called to reflect:

  • How do we respond when God calls us?

  • Are we open to His plan, even when it is unexpected or challenging?

  • Can we trust, like Mary, with courage and humility?

May we look to Mary as our model of faith, and strive to say “yes” to God in our daily lives, allowing Him to transform our hearts and guide our path.
