From the Desk of the Principal~ March 31 , 2026

Dear OLA Families,

As we enter into the most sacred time of our Church year, we wish each of you a blessed and fruitful Holy Week. This is a beautiful opportunity to pause, reflect, and draw closer to Christ through prayer, the Triduum liturgies, and time spent together in faith as a family.

We encourage you to participate in your parish’s Holy Week celebrations, especially Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Vigil, as we journey together through the passion, death, and resurrection of our Lord.

As Easter Break begins, we pray that your family enjoys a time of rest, renewal, and joyful anticipation of the Resurrection. May your days be filled with peace, love, and the hope that Easter brings.

Wishing you all a safe, restful, and grace-filled Easter Break.

Blessings ~ OLA Faculty & Staff

Today’s Readings – A Call to Humility - Tuesday of Holy Week

Isaiah 49:1–6
Psalm 70 (71): “I will sing of your salvation.”
John 13:21–33, 36–38

Today’s readings remind us that we are called to be a light to others, even in moments of struggle, disappointment, or uncertainty. In the Gospel, we witness the pain of betrayal as Jesus speaks of what is to come. Yet even in this moment, He responds with humility, love, and trust in God’s plan.

During this Lenten season, we are invited to reflect on the virtue of humility. Humility helps us recognize our limitations while continuing to strive to do what is right. It calls us to:

  • Admit when we are wrong

  • Accept guidance and feedback

  • Treat others with patience and understanding

In our daily lives, humility may look like offering a sincere apology, choosing kindness over being “right,” or quietly helping others without seeking recognition. These small acts shape our hearts and draw us closer to God.

When we place our trust in God rather than seeking approval from others, we grow in compassion, strength, and faith.
