From the Desk of the Principal~ June 2,  2026

Dear Parents,

We are looking forward to finishing these final weeks of the school year strong! There is still so much learning, growth, and celebration ahead as we prepare for the close of another wonderful year at OLA.

We encourage our students to continue giving their best effort in the classroom, showing kindness to one another, and finishing the year with pride, responsibility, and enthusiasm. Together, we will make these last weeks meaningful and memorable.

Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support. Let us continue working together to help our students finish the school year with confidence and joy!

Today’s Readings – Give to God What Is God’s

2 Peter 3:11–15, 17–18
Psalm 89 (90): “In every age, O Lord, you have been our refuge.”
Mark 12:13–17

In today's Gospel, Jesus is confronted by those who seek to trap Him with a difficult question. Rather than being caught by their deceit, Jesus responds with wisdom and truth, reminding them to "Repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God."

Jesus' response challenges us to consider what belongs to God in our own lives. While we have responsibilities in our families, schools, workplaces, and communities, we must never forget that our hearts, talents, and lives belong first to God. He calls us to live with integrity, honesty, and faithfulness in all that we do.

As we approach the end of the school year, this Gospel invites us to reflect on how we are using the gifts God has given us. Are we giving Him our best efforts, our gratitude, and our trust? Are we allowing His truth to guide our decisions?

Today we also remember Saints Marcellinus and Peter, early Christian martyrs who remained faithful to Christ despite persecution. Their courage reminds us that living for God sometimes requires sacrifice, but it always leads us closer to Him.

Let us pray:

Lord Jesus, help us to recognize what belongs to You. Guide us to live with honesty, wisdom, and faith, always placing You at the center of our lives. Amen. ✝️
